abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a coating composition which contains (A) a hydroxyl-containing polyacrylate and/or a hydroxyl-containing polymethacrylate and (B) a compound (B) which contains isocyanate groups and has a structural unit of formula (I) and a structural formula of formula (II), wherein (i) component (A) has a glass transition temperature of -60°C to 10°C, (ii) compound (B) contains more than 10 to 90 mol. % of a structural unit of formula -NR-(X-SiR"x(OR')3-x) (I) and 10 to less than 90 mol. % of a structural unit of formula -N(X-SiR"x(OR')3-x)n(X'-SiR"y(OR')3-y)m (II), based in each case on the integrity of structural units (I) and (II), and (iii) 10 to 60 mol. % of isocyanate groups of the diisocyanate and/or polyisocyanate initial structure of compound (B) reacts to form structural units of formulae (I) and (II).
