titleOfInvention | Method for surgical management of lack of vitreous |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for the surgical management of lack of vitreous. That is ensured by aspirating normal saline from the vitreous cavity. At the same time, the vitreous cavity is filled out with air. The air is replaced by the solution of Alloplant biomaterial for stimulation of vitreous body regeneration. The above biomaterial is introduced into the vitreous cavity in an amount of 3-5ml with a cannulated probe. The solution is prepared in proportions of 100-250ml of the biomaterial in 3-5ml of normal saline. n EFFECT: method provides repairing the vitreous body after the removal that in turn improves the metabolism of the posterior eyeball structures responsible for perception. n 2 ex, 2 dwg |
