abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to oncology, and concerns a method for the prediction of a risk of squamous metaplasia in the respiratory bronchial epithelium with detected isolated basal cell hyperplasia. The ssubstance of the method: positive nuclear expression of the Ki67 proliferation marker and membrane differentiation expression of CD 138 squamous epitheliocytes in the bronchial epithelium are measured. If the expression level Ki67≥25%, and CD138 is ≤3.5%, the risk of metaplasia in the respiratory bronchial epithelium is predicted. n EFFECT: method possesses the high information value and enables early grouping of the patients suffering from the high risk of squamous cell lung cancer and optimisation of the therapeutic approach to these patients. n 2 tbl, 3 ex |
