abstract |
FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a processed product of a mineral filler provides the starting temperature of its volatilisation of at least 220°C. The method includes the following stages: (a) obtaining the mineral filler, containing calcium carbonate, with the median size of particles d 50 0.3-10 mcm and/or a specific surface area (BET) 1-10 m 2 /g; (b) obtaining aliphatic aldehyde with the number of carbon atoms from 6 to 14 and viscosity lower than 500 mPa·sec at 23°C; (c) bringing the mineral filler from stage (a) in contact with aliphatic aldehyde from stage (b); and (d) formation of a processing layer on the mineral filler surface. Also described is the application of the processed mineral filler product in methods of plastic processing and a film, containing the said processed mineral filler. n EFFECT: invention provides the processed product of the mineral filler with increased hydrophobic properties and high starting temperature of volatilisation, which contributes to an increase in the quality of plastic products with its application. n 17 cl, 1 tbl, 5 ex |
