titleOfInvention System of mechanical load control at extended elements of overhead transmission line
abstract FIELD: electricity. n SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for remote control of mechanical loads at a wire, ground wire and/or a cable of overhead transmission line suspended at supports. The system comprises at least one tension sensor (5) mounted at an element of line accessories and at least one wind sensor (6) mounted at the support; the sensors are linked to the ground terminal (17). The sensors are made on the basis of optical fibres with applied Bragg gratings perceiving deformation. Optical fibres of the sensors are built into the fibre optic communication line (18) with the ground terminal (17). Bragg gratings of the sensors reflect radiation that does not coincide with reflected radiation of other sensors built into the same optical fibre of the communication line. The terminal (17) comprises a laser radiation source (21) and a photoreceiver (22) coupled to the programmed data processing unit (20); the line (18) is fed through a circulator or directional coupler (23) to the above radiation source and photoreceiver. n EFFECT: providing independent control for vertical and wind component of tension for the wire, ground wire or cable suspended at supports of the overhead transmission line thus increasing reliability of the control system functioning, simplifying its installation and operation. n 7 cl, 4 dwg
