titleOfInvention Method of obtaining wear-resistant coating for cutting instrument
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the application of wear-resistant coatings on a cutting instrument and can be applied in metalwork. Vacuum-plasma application of a wear-resistant coating from nitride or carbonitride of titanium, silicon, aluminium, molybdenum and iron with their content in wt %: titanium 63.94, silicon 0.93, aluminium 9.72, molybdenum 24.18, iron 1.23 is performed. Application of the coating is realised by three cathodes horizontally located in one plane. The first cathode is made from an alloy of titanium, silicon and aluminium, and the second is made from molybdenum and iron and placed opposite the first one, the third is made from titanium and is placed between them. n EFFECT: increased serviceability of the cutting instrument. n 1 tbl
