abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heterocyclic derivative of nicotine with an oxo-bridge, selected from compounds having the structure described by formula (A) or (B), or an optical isomer thereof: n , n where R 1 is a nitrogen-, oxygen- and/or sulphur-containing five- or six-member heterocycle; a halogenated nitrogen-, oxygen- and/or sulphur-containing five- or six-member heterocycle; or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, where the substitute is a halogen; R 3 and R 4 together form -CH 2 -CH 2 - or -CH 2 -CH 2 -CH 2 -; R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 8 and R 9 are hydrogen; and Y is nitro.
