titleOfInvention | Method of predicting course of bacterial purulent meningitis in children |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: presence of CD31 and S100 positive cells in the cerebrospinal fluid is determined on 1-2 day of a disease by an immunocytochemical method. In case the content of the CD31 is higher than 0.5% and the presence of S100 positive cells, an unfavourable course of bacterial purulent memingitis (BPM) is predicted. If the CD 31 content is lower than 0.5% and the absence of S100 positive cells, a favourable course of the disease is predicted. n EFFECT: application of the claimed method of liquor-cytological prediction of the BPM course in children makes it possible to predict the favourable and unfavourable course of the disease at early terms of the disease, carry out monitoring of vessels of the microcirculatory bed of the brain in the course of the disease and correct therapy. n 1 tbl, 2 dwg, 3 ex |
