abstract | FIELD: printing. n SUBSTANCE: toner is claimed, comprising toner particles each of which comprises binding resin, the colorant and wax, at that the binding resin contains resin (a), having complex polyester links in an amount of 50% or more by weight, and at that when the amount of endothermic heat of toner is subjected to analysis using a differential scanning calorimeter, (1) the temperature of the endothermic peak (Tp) derived from the binding resin is 50°C or higher to 80°C or below; (2) the total amount of the endothermic heat (ΔH) derived from the binding resin is from 30 J/g or more to 125 J/g or less, based on the weight of the binding resin; (3) when the amount of the endothermic heat derived from the binding resin from the temperature of initiation of the endothermic process to Tp, is presented as ΔH Tp [J/g], ΔH and ΔH Tp comply with the formula (1) below; and (4) when the amount of endothermic heat derived from the binding resin from the temperature of initiation of the endothermic process to the temperature is 3.0°C lower than Tp, is presented as ΔH Tp-3 [J/g], ΔH and ΔH Tp-3 comply with the formula (2) below 0.30≤ΔH Tp /ΔH≤0.50 (1) 0.00≤ΔH Tp-3 /ΔH≤0.20 (2). n EFFECT: toner has good capability to low temperature fixing, high resistance to heat accumulation, in the toner the reduction of ability to fixation is suppressed, which is due to prolonged storage. n 8 cl, 3 dwg, 6 tbl, 26 ex |
