titleOfInvention | Method of pig management under conditions of low-cost technology |
abstract | FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely the livestock. The method of pig management under conditions of low-cost technology comprises rearing and fattening of animals on deep litter which is not changed for a long time. The letter has a thickness of 40-50 cm and can be made of straw, buckwheat hulls, sunflower hulls, wood chips or sawdust. Before placement of the animals the litter on the basis of sand with thickness of 5-10 cm is treated with solution EM "Kyusey" with the rate of 5-10 litres per 100 m 2 . The method enables to eliminate odour characteristic of pigsties, and eliminates the appearance of rats, mice and flies, to receive solid environmentally friendly high-quality manure which is applied directly after harvesting on the field as organic fertiliser. The method provides improved zootechnical conditions of pig management, virtually absent pollution of the environment with nitrites, nitrates, ammonia, hydrogen sulphide, and their salts, weed seeds. n EFFECT: increased average daily gain and meat quality of growing pigs. n 4 cl |
