abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining includes resorcinol neutralisation with a solution of alkali metal hydroxide, introduction of formaldehyde and calcium carbonate into a reaction mixture. Oligomerisation of the reaction mixture and polycondensation are performed with obtaining a granulated product. Stages of neutralisation, oligomerisation and polycondensation are performed in inert gas atmosphere. Polycondensation is realised by dispersion of an oligomer mixture into a layer of liquid which does not mix with it. After that, calcium carbonate is removed from the obtained granules by processing with an acid. A sorbent is washed and dried. n EFFECT: obtaining highly selective spherically granulated sorbent with high osmotic stability. n 5 cl
