Self-supporting tire |
abstract |
FIELD: transport. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of automotive tire capable to move in punctured condition. Self-supporting tire is provided with carcass (6) going from tread (2) through sidewall (3) to bead ring (5) of bead (4), and sidewall reinforcing rubber layer (9) which has crescent shaped cross-section and is located inside the carcass (6) in the sidewall (3). Heat-conducting rubber (11) with heat-conduction coefficient of 0.3 W/(v·K) is located on inner surface (12) of tire. At least part of the mentioned heat-conducting rubber (11) is located on protruding section (T) of sidewall reinforcing rubber layer (9) representing a section of sidewall reinforcing rubber layer (9) outgoing on inner surface (12) of tire. n EFFECT: higher durability of tire in punctured condition. n 11 cl, 8 dwg, 2 tbl |
