abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: ceramics-forming rubber mixture contains highly molecular siloxane rubber, finely disperse silicon dioxide, silica filling agent or silica filling agent and aluminium silicate (kaolin) - 10-30 with size particle not more than 0.14 mm, in combination with platinum complex, which contains low molecular vinyl-containing organosiloxanes, antistructuring additive, organic peroxide. Mixture can additionally contain 5-10 wt.p. of iron oxide pigment as thermostabilising additive per 100 wt.p. of highly molecular siloxane rubber. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to preserve workability of high voltage electrotechnical devices in case of ignition of insulating polymer coatings of wires and cables. n 4 cl, 3 tbl
