titleOfInvention Fall back using mobile device assisted termination of access domain selection
abstract FIELD: radio engineering, communication. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and more specifically to fall back procedures in a wireless communication environment. The technical result is achieved due to that a network entity forwards an invitation to a session to a mobile device, wherein the session has packet switched bearers for media. Mobile device replies with a rejection of the invitation and a request for the network entity to hold the session, wherein rejection is based on the mobile device determining that circuit switched bearers should be used. The mobile device sends a circuit switched call and the network entity correlates the circuit switched call with the session. A dialogue is set up over circuit switched domain bearers and Internet Protocol multimedia subsystem bearers. n EFFECT: facilitating fall back of circuit switched (CS) systems and packet switched (PS) systems using mobile device assisted termination of access domain selection. n 39 cl, 11 dwg
