abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: colour perception is tested according to Famsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Tes. The derived data are used to assess the following parameters: colour test (CT), colour deficiency type (CDT), colour order (CO), RGB shade, HCV tint, wavelength range (WLR), frequency band (FB), photon energy range (PER). The findings are applicable to diagnose the functional changes of the visual organs: spasm of accommodation, low degree myopia, low degree hypermetropia, initial stages of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy (DRP) I, clinical outcome of neuritis, primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) Ia, or the organic changes of retina (moderate myopia or high degree myopia, dry and wet age-related macular degeneration, DRO II-IV, genetic dystrophies (Stargardt's, Best's) or the organic changes of a visual nerve (moderate myopia or high degree myopia, moderate and high degree hypermetropia (pseudocongestion)), optic nerve atrophy, POAG II-IV. n EFFECT: method enables diagnosing the eye diseases as determined by the changes of colour perception. n 24 ex
