abstract FIELD: physics. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electro-optical instrument-making and can be used in forensics for express inspection, investigation, identification and authentication of bond paper and documents. A library of express inspection scenarios is created in advance based on experience in inspecting similar documents. Each scenario includes one of the sequences of processing the document to be inspected with a set of optical radiation sources and converting the reflected light flux from the inspected region of the document to a video image.
