abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sorbing composition and methods of removing mercury from streams of waste flue gases. The composition for reducing mercury emissions contains an enclosed organic substance and a sorbent, wherein the TNO value of the composition is 10°C higher than that of the sorbent.
