abstract FIELD: metallurgy. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a processing method of sulphide concentrates containing precious metals. The method involves mixing of a concentrate with sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, a product based on iron oxide and a carbonaceous reducing agent. Then, charge is molten, matte and slag melting products are separated, and regulated cooling of molten matte is performed. The cooled matte in an ingot is kept in the air till complete crushing by self-dispersion. The crushed matte is leached in water. A deposit is baked in oxygen-containing gas medium. The obtained cinder is leached in water with further separation of the solution from insoluble residue that is leached in alkaline medium in presence of cyanides of alkali metals. The cake obtained after separation is directed for melting together with initial sulphide concentrate, and aqueous and cyanide solutions obtained after cinder leaching are processed so that precious metals are extracted. n EFFECT: improving extraction of precious metals. n 4 tbl, 1 ex
