titleOfInvention Method of coat application using pulse power arc
abstract FIELD: metallurgy. n SUBSTANCE: part surface to be built up is cleaned, flushed and jet blast as well as that adjoining area to be built-up at distance of at least 50 mm. Jet blasting is made to surface roughness R z of at least 20 mcm. Processed surface is blown by compressed air. Plasma spraying is effected with powder feed by at least one proportioner. Compressed is used to feed the powder into plasmatron while compressed air with propane additive is used as plasma-forming gas. Remote electric arc is supplied with pulse current of 60 A from separate current source at pulse repetition rate of 25-200 Hz at mean power of pulsating arc of 2.5 kW. n EFFECT: higher adhesion with no surface overheating. n 4 cl, 3 tbl
