abstract FIELD: food industry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The method envisages manufacture of a snack food product having the target shape of blasting granules. The target shape is imparted to the snack food product by way of granules blasting inside the matrix. While the granules expand inside the matrix the matrix walls prevent the granules expansion in the direction perpendicular to the matrix walls surface. While expanding, granules adhere to each other.
