FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a method for prediction of the clinical course of the disease in the patients with soft tissue sarcoma that involves the biochemical study. The check-up examinations follow every three months in the patients suffering soft tissue sarcoma, and blood serum is tested for the content of C-reactive protein (C-RP). If the C-RP values is within the range of 1.94 to 3.25 mg/l with an average value of 2.56 mg/l, the process stabilisation is predicted; then the C-RP value falling within the range of 5.18 to 45.45 mg/l with an average value of 14.24 mg/l, the onset of the distant metastases is 3-6 months is predicted, while the C-RB value being 6.17 to 95.00 mg/l with an average value of 29.66 mg/l, the presence of the distant metastases and the process generalisation are predicted. n EFFECT: effective prediction of the clinical course of the disease in the patients with soft sarcoma tissue ensured by detecting the biochemical differences in C-RP progression. n 1 tbl, 5 ex |
