titleOfInvention Method of forming and operating sterlet broodstock
abstract FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming, namely sterlet breeding in installations with a closed cycle of water supply. The fry of average weight of 1 g four groups of followers-broodstock are formed. The formed groups are brought to feeding regime and "artificial hibernation" separately and sequentially in time, with the three months interval between the adjacent groups. With the growth of the average weight of fry the conditions of their maintenance in the pools in the group are changed so that the followers weighing from 1 to 100 g are maintained in a density of 300 pcs/m with the level of the water in the pool of 0.3-0.6 m; from 100 to 500 g - a density of 100 pcs/m with a water level in the pool of 0.5-0.8 m; from 500 to 1000 g - a density of 50 pcs/m with a water level in the pool of 0.5-1.0 m; from 1000 up to 1500 g - a density of 30 pcs/m with at a water level in the pool of 0.5-1.0 m; more than 1500 g - a density of 15-20 pcs/m with the level of water in the pool of 0.8-1.0 m. In each of the groups in the fourth year of growing the oocyte polarization efficiency is determined in the middle of the period of "artificial hibernation" by biopsic method. The females are chosen to produce offspring that have the polarization efficiency of oocytes in the amount of 0.07-0.18. Injections of breeders is carried out with bream pituitary gland or surfagon also in the fourth year of growing. At that the temperature of water is changed in the translation of fish in the mode of "artificial hibernation" or leaving it with a gradient of 1°C per day. Water exchange in pools is carried out 1-2 times per hour, and classification to size groups is carried out: lagging in growth, the average in disclosure of growth potency and with faster growth. Culling of stunted fish is carried out. n EFFECT: possibility of year-round production of offspring in the equidistant time periods is provided, quarterly, for the subsequent growing of planting stock, commercial sterlet, following generations of followers-broodstock. n 9 cl, 1 tbl
