FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing oxidation-resistant ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) material. The method involves forming UHMWPE with an additive and treatment with gamma-rays or an electron beam. Exposure is carried out on air under normal atmospheric conditions with a dose of 2-40 Mrad.
