abstract | FIELD: food industry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical and food industry and describes the process of selecting drone larvae to produce drone brood with maximum biological value. The method of drone larvae selection for drone brood preparation includes collection of prepupae from sealed cells occupying a vertical position and having no pigmentation or of pupae with colourless or yellowish eyes which enables to ensure the content of testosterone, progesterone, PRL and oestradiol in the drone breed matching the following characteristics: 1) testosterone - no less than 0.292 nmol/100 g; 2) progesterone - no less than 42.63 nmol/100 g; 3), PRL- no less than 344.6 nmol/100 g; 4) oestradiol - no less than 431.2 nmol/100 g; 5) oxidation index unsaturated compounds - no less than 10.0 s; 6) decenoic acids - no less than 3.0%; 7) crude protein - from 28.0 to 32.0%; 8) hydrogen ions concentration (pH) - from 6.1 to 6.8. n EFFECT: invention allows to produce a product with increased biological activity with no bacterial flora therein. n 2 tbl, 2 ex |
