abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnics, namely to composition for functional coating of Bengal sticks. Pyrotechnic composition for Bengal stick includes barium nitrate, ignition activator - potassium perchlorite, metal fuel - powder of aluminium-magnesium alloy, spark-forming iron powder and organic binding agent in form of water starch-dextrin plaster, which includes 1-st grade corn dextrin, corn starch, 2-nd grade corn dextrin and potato starch. n EFFECT: invention ensures improvement of technological properties of pyrotechnic composition due to thixotropy of prepared mixture and rheology of made from it functional coating.
