abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing compounds which contain at least one nitrile functional group via hydrocyanation of an organic compound containing at least one unconjugated unsaturated bond and having 2-20 carbon atoms, reaction with hydrogen cyanide in the presence of a catalyst system. The catalyst system contains a complex of nickel in zero oxidation state with at least one organophosphorus ligand selected from a group comprising organophosphites, organophosphonites, organophosphinites and organophosphines, and a cocatalyst. The cocatalyst consists of a mixture of at least two Lewis acids, from which at least one is an organometallic compound of general formula I: [(R)-(X)-]M-(O)-M[-(X)-(R)]. In formula I, M, M, identical or different, denote an element selected from a group comprising the following elements: B, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, Zn, Al, In; R, R, identical or different, denote an aliphatic radical or a radical containing an aromatic or cycloaliphatic ring, substituted or not, which may or may not be linked by a bridge bond, or a halide radical; X denotes an oxygen, nitrogen, sulphur or silicon atom; y, z, p are integers, identical or different, equal to 0 or 1; n, nare integers equal to the valence of elements M, Mminus 1; a, aare integers, identical or different, which are equal to the valence of element X minus 1 if y and z are equal to 1, or are equal to 1 if y and z are equal to 0.EFFECT: method enables to obtain suitable levels of selectivity and output of products during a hydrocyanation reaction.11 cl, 2 tbl, 16 ex
