abstract FIELD: fire-prevention facilities. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a combined means of gaseous fire suppression and can be used for 3D fire fighting of fires of class A 1 , B, C, and desensitization of explosive means in a confined space, as well as for localisation of fires of class A 1 . The gas composition for 3D fire fighting comprises a gas deterrent and iodine-containing hydrocarbon as an inhibitor and comprises as a desensitisation a mixture of carbon dioxide with nitrogen or air in a ratio of 95:5 to about 70-30, and/or tetrafluoromethane, and as an inhibitor it comprises a mixture of 5-50 % solution of halocarbon in an organic solvent and/or 2-20% solution of inorganic salt of cesium in a solvent compatible with the above mentioned organic solvent in mass ratios: gas deterrent - 60-95, inhibitor - the rest. The composition contains triiodomethane as a halocarbon, as solvent for triiodomethane the trichloromethane or perfluoropentane is used, as inorganic salt of cesium the halide, sulfate, phosphate or cesium carbonate is used, and as the solvent the alkyl carbinol is used. n EFFECT: invention provides a fire extinguishing gas composition for 3D fire fighting with increased efficiency (with reduced values of the mass of fire fighting concentration). n 2 cl, 2 tbl
