abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and can be used for treatment of optic nerve atrophy of different etiology. At preliminary stage elastic polymer magnetic implant in form of strip is implanted around optic nerve, said implant is left in the place of its placement constantly, when implantation is completed, mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) of patient's bone marrow, labeled with magnetic microparticles, are introduced: vitectomy is performed, posterior hyaloids membrane is ablated, liquid is replaced with gas, after that, radical optic neurotomy is performed by means of ophthalmological instrument for neurotomy with simultaneous intra-tissue delivery of substances into optic nerve from temporal side of optic nerve disc, instrument is turned around its axis on 25° and 0.05 ml of autologous cultivated MSC in amount (0.5-1)×10 7 through 41G needle are introduced into formed channel. n EFFECT: method ensures improvement or stable stabilisation of visual functions.
