abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a photocatalyst. Described is a method of producing a photocatalyst for decomposing organic pollutants, involving preparation of a mixture from precursors taken in stoichiometric ratios, which is mixed with a low-melting fluxing agent, calcining the mixture and washing the obtained photocatalyst, wherein the precursors used are bismuth oxides, at least one metal oxide from a group of metals having ionic radius ranging from 0.5 to 0.8 Å and at least one metal oxide from a group metals having ionic radius ranging from 0.9 to 1.5 Å; the mixture contains 1-80% fluxing agent; the fluxing agent used is a mixture of NaCl and KCl, and the mixture is calcined at temperature of 700-900°C for 30-120 minutes. n EFFECT: obtaining an efficient photocatalyst. n 7 dwg; 1 tbl; 10 ex
