titleOfInvention Glass furnace with fluid glass bed bubbling
abstract FIELD: process engineering. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass melting and to glass furnace. Proposed method comprises melting glass mass layer in first chamber of kiln to working level, loading blend coarse and fine fractions in glass mass layer accompanied with intensive bubbling by high-temperature combustion products unless maximum possible interface surface is formed in blend-glass mass system and glass mass temperature of 1500°C is reached. Melting, silicate formation, vitrification and homogenisation are intensified at above conditions. Then, glass mass with homogeneous composition and uniform temperature is fed into clarification and cooling zone arranged under bubbling layer to release process gases therefrom through bubbling layer into above-layer space to be cleaned and cooled, while clarified glass mass comes to subsequent processing. n EFFECT: higher furnace efficiency, stable properties of glass, intensified silicate formation, refining and homogenising. n 6 cl, 2 dwg
