titleOfInvention Treatment of effluents by activated sludge in suspended state and activation treatment plant to this effect
abstract FIELD: process engineering. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biological treatment of industrial and domestic effluents. Proposed method comprises feeding effluents into reservoir with further transfer of treated effluents in second reservoir, forcing them into outlet, and purification. Active aeration of said effluents is carried out at air flow rate of 20-30 litres a minute in first reservoir. The latter features diameter-to-height ratio of 0.2-0.3. Conditionally pure waters (pools, bathrooms, showers) in notable volumes are directed in second reservoir for mixing with purified effluents from first reservoir with lower content of dissolved air and sludge suspension sufficient for purification of effluents from pools, bathrooms, and showers. Proposed activation plant comprises reservoir with effluents feed line including air discharge line and sludge discharge pump, second reservoir with purified water discharge pump, and discharge opening. First reservoir is filled so that diameter-to-height ratio, for reservoir filled part, makes 0.2-0.3 to provided for boiling bed in treatment. Second reservoir is communicated with first one via inclined line to accommodate conditionally pure waters for their afterpurification on mixing with treated effluents from first reservoir. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment, reliable operation, lower costs. n 2 cl, 1 dwg
