titleOfInvention Method of sulphating carboxymethyl cellulose
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of water-soluble mixed cellulose ester which simultaneously contains sulphate and carboxymethyl groups - carboxymethyl cellulose sulphate. The technical result is achieved by that the method of sulphating carboxymethyl cellulose, involving sulphation of a starting polymer, separating the product from the reaction medium, treatment with aqueous sodium hydroxide, washing the obtained sodium salt of carboxymethyl sulphate with aqueous ethanol, according to the invention, the sulphating agent used is aminosulphonic acid, the reaction is carried out at temperature of 60-100°C for 2-5 hours and the obtained product is separated from the reaction medium by adding ethyl alcohol. n EFFECT: obtaining water-soluble mixed cellulose ester which simultaneously contains sulphate and carboxymethyl groups - carboxymethyl cellulose sulphate. n 6 ex
