abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method of producing biologically active humic substances, which involves a step for pretreatment of sludge residues of household and/or industrial sewage with chemicals, followed by post-oxidation of the reaction mixture with an oxidant in physical action conditions. The chemicals used are ammonia water with final content of NH 4   + in the solution of 20-50 g/l; the oxidant used is hydrogen peroxide in amount of 0.05-0.2 g/g of absolute dry sludge; the physical action on the mixture is ultrasonic treatment at frequency of 22 kHz and intensity of 7 W/cm 2 for 8 minutes. n EFFECT: invention provides a highly efficient method of producing biologically active humic substances, while preserving the natural structure of the latter as much as possible. n 1 dwg, 3 tbl, 4 ex
