abstract | FIELD: machine building. n SUBSTANCE: abrasive grain of the group of corundum, molten corundum, sintered corundum, zircon corundum, silicon carbide, boron carbide, cubic boron nitride, diamond and/or their mixtures, with coating containing binding agent and small-grain non-organic powder, are described. Base of the binding agent consists of aluminium silicate with molar ratio of Al 2 O 3 to SiO 2 of 1:2 to 1:20, liquid glass and water. Abrasive grains are wetted with the binding agent in high-efficiency mixer, wetted grains are mixed with small-grain non-organic powder and mixed till uniform distribution of powder on surface of abrasive grains.
