abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: polymer coating is made of hardened spatially cross-linked polymer material, filled with nanoparticles of mineral filling agent in form of 1-5 nm thick plates, and possesses ability of explosion-like destruction in temperature range 90-270°C. In particular, coating can be formed by complex of polyvinyl alcohol with urea-resorcinol-formaldehyde resin or cross-linked gelatin, filled with exfoliated montmorillonite. Also described is method of obtaining microcapsulated fire-extinguishing agent, fire-extinguishing composite materials, for instance, made in form of pastes, plates, films, products, hard foams, fabrics, and fire-extinguishing coating, which contains in its composition said microcapsulated fire-extinguishing agent. n EFFECT: inventions ensure obtaining fire-extinguishing agent, possessing higher barrier properties in its application as efficient reactive fire-extinguishing filling agent and having high stability under storage and exploitation conditions. n 31 cl, 4 dwg, 2 tbl, 18 ex
