titleOfInvention | Method of restoring retention properties of dental prostheses |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthopedic dentistry, namely to restoration of groove-and-shoulder attachments of clasp prostheses. Method of restoring retention properties of dental prosthesis with groove-and-shoulder attachments includes electroplating by several layers of gold-containing electrolyte of the surface of dental prosthesis affected by friction wearing and demanding change of internal dimensions. All other surfaces of dental prosthesis are covered with isolating vanish, after which it is placed in reservoir for gilding. Clearance between internal surface, which requires change of dimensions - attachment matrix and interacting with it matrix is preliminarily measured by means of micrometre. After that, prosthesis is pretreated in 25% solution of hydrochloric acid; electroplating with gold-zirconium composite electrolyte composition is carried out in two steps: first - to coating thickness 1 mcm and the second - to required thickness of coating with gold-zirconium envelope by means of electrolyte set into reciprocating motion. Electrolyte solution for gilding has the following composition: 98.5% - gold, 1% - zirconium oxide, 0.5% - cobalt. n EFFECT: increase of durability and quality of detachable prostheses. n 3 dwg |
