FIELD: physics. n SUBSTANCE: method for underground disposal of liquid radioactive silicon-containing wastes involves pre-filtration of the wastes through a sand filter, adjusting pH of the wastes and disposal thereof in a prepared deep collector layer. The wastes are pre-filtered not more than 7 days after they are obtained and are disposed in the collector layer not more than 20 days after filtration. The invention enables to dispose at least 85% SiO 2 present in silicon-containing wastes in a deep collector layer. n EFFECT: protecting the collector layer from clogging. n 1 tbl |
