FIELD: process engineering. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to suture needles, particularly, to thermal forming of suture needles from refractory alloys. Needle blank made from refractory alloy is used for making suture needle. Said blank is heated to temperature exceeding that of ductile-to-brittle transition and lower than recrystallisation temperature of refractory alloy.
