abstract |
FIELD: process engineering. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of powder coatings on aluminium base layer surfaces to create special effects and may be used in architecture and construction. Proposed method comprises the following stages, i.e. a) processing aluminium base layer surface by chromless colorless chemical substances, b) applying composition of transparent powder coating based on, at least, one methacrylic resin, at least one resin of polyester to produce cured coat of low lustre in the range of 1 to 20 lustre units at angle of 60°. Said methacrylic resin represents glycidyl-functionalised acrylic resin with equivalent epoxy weight of 400-700 g/eqv and vitrification temperature Tg of 40-70°C, while polyester resin represents carboxy-functionalised polyester with acid number of 10-100 mg KOH/g of resin. n EFFECT: higher smoothness, strength, antirust properties and light stability. n 9 cl, 2 ex |
