FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. What is described is a method for blanket or continuous coating of a grid or mesh stent (an endoprosthesis) for vessels and other tubular organs. The first stage of the method consists in applying a first thin layer coating only surfaces of bearing elements of the stent; the second stage consists in applying a blanket coating which covers both a grid of the bearing elements of the stent, and the in-between gaps.
