titleOfInvention Method of surgical treatment of subperiosteal abscess of internal wall of orbit
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to ophthalmic surgery, and can be applied as surgical treatment of subperiosteal abscess of internal wall of orbit. Treatment of subperiosteal abscess of internal wall of orbit is performed by double drainage of abscess in walls of ethmoidal labyrinth cells and outside into conjunctiva wound. First, drainage into conjunctiva wound is performed, for which purpose cut of conjunctiva in region of semilunar fold of lacrimal caruncle is made, periosteum in zone of periosteum detachment with its separation along internal wall of orbit, after that drainage of abscess into nasal cavity is carried out. Perforation of lamina papyraceus of ethmoidal bone is carried out by formation in it of 3-5 mm hole from the side of orbit, from which drainage is installed into conjunctiva cavity. In post-operation period bilateral washing of inflammation area is performed during 3 days, after which both drainages are removed. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to stop subperiosteal abscess of internal wall of orbit, prevent development of ischemic neuroopticopathy and phlegmon, obtain clinical recovery 7-9 days after operation. n 3 cl, 6 dwg
