titleOfInvention Method for preparing blood serum of cattle foetuses for animal and human cell culture
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, virology and immunology, and is applicable in animal and human cell line culture. The method involves blood sampling, serum separation and two-fold filtration sterilisation. The foetus blood is sampled with using a sterile system and placed in glass bottles 250 ml containing hypertonic saline. The bottles are filled 80-100%. The blood is sampled from a recess at a cranial parts of a sternum. The serum is separated by centrifugation at 2000 rpm for 30-40 minutes. After the sampling, the serum is frozen at -15…-20°C for at least 7 days. After the defrosting at +4…+20°C, the serum is collected, and strongly laked layers are to be removed. Thereafter the prepared serum is pre-filtered thought the depth filters EKS, and then - thought the sterilising membrane filters at +2…+6°C. n EFFECT: method allows higher end product yield and improved quality. n 7 tbl, 7 ex
