abstract FIELD: machine building. n SUBSTANCE: insert of a honeycomb shroud ring of a steam turbine comprises a casing, which has a flat (straight) shape in the longitudinal section, and in the transverse section it is V-shaped. Side surfaces of the casing have economically justified accuracy of manufacturing. Sealing combs are made as a whole with the casing. Close-meshed honeycomb units are soldered between sealing combs. The outer surface of honeycomb units is processed by the mechanical method with allowance for the finishing size of honeycomb units height equal to 0.01รท0.1 mm. Assembly of honeycomb shroud ring inserts is carried out by pushing of inserts along the V-shaped slot of the turbine stator at the side of the horizontal joint of the turbine stator. The slot has economically justified accuracy of manufacturing. In process of pushing the inserts of flat (straight) cross section acquire bent shape. Due to the difference in curvature radii of the turbine stator slot and inserts, the inserts are fixed in the radial direction due to elasticity of the insert casings material. The outer surface of honeycomb unit inserts after assembly of the inserts into the turbine stator slot is not treated mechanically. Fixation of inserts in the longitudinal direction of the turbine stator slot is carried out by staking-on in three areas at each side of inserts. At first the staking-on is carried out in the middle of the inserts, then - at the edges of the inserts. n EFFECT: reduced labour intensiveness. n 2 cl, 10 dwg
