titleOfInvention Method of elimination of congenital ptosis of upper eye-lid
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for elimination of congenital ptosis of upper eyelid. Skin of upper eyelid is cut on marked contour, skin is separated to tarsoorbital fascia. Levator is exposed and levator aponeurosis is separated. Strip of tarsoorbital fascia is excised. From excess of levator aponeurosis fold is formed and fixed to upper eyelid cartilage, indenting 15-30 mm from its edge, by application of three "П"-shaped sutures. Eyelid position and its contour are checked. Sutures are tightened and tied up. After that, strip of upper eyelid skin is excised on width of eyelid rise. On skin wound applied are three deep intracutaneous interrupted sutures with seizure of levator aponeurosis fold (silk 8.0) and uninterrupted blanket suture with nylon 10.0. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce trauma preserving high reliability of method. n 2 ex
