titleOfInvention | Method of cataract phacoemulsification in evident disorder of suspensory ligament of lens |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely ophthalmology and may be used for cataract phacoemulsification in an evident disorder of the suspensory ligament of a lens. After a phacoemulsification tunnel and corneal paracenteses are formed, an anterior eye chamber is filled with a viscoprotector to the depth less than a mean depth. A cystotome is used to open an anterior capsule of the lens, and circular capsulorexis extends from an area of the preserved ligaments of Zinn. As far as the capsulorexis advances through the corneal paracenteses, fixation hooks are introduced in turn to be used to clamp and fix a capsulorexis border, and the ligaments of Zinn is unloaded. After the phacoemulsification of a lens nucleus is performed, a ground mass of cortical layers are removed. After the procedure, the anterior chamber is filled with the viscoprotector, the fixation hooks are removed, and a capsular sac with remained crystalline mass is removed through the phacoemulsification tunnel. It is followed with the intraocular lens implantation. n EFFECT: method provides reliable fixation of the capsule of lens subluxation for the purpose of removing the lens nucleus and the bulk crystalline mass with preserved capsular sac integrity. |
