| abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a disposable absorbent product comprising a frame having an upper layer and a back layer, and an absorbent body between the upper layer and the back layer. The absorbent body comprises first and second absorbent layers with the first absorbent layer comprising a first underlayer and the second absorbent layer comprising a second underlayer. The first and second absorbent layers comprises a superabsorbent granulated polymeric material formed on the first and second underlayers respectively and coated with a thermoplastic adhesive material. The first and second absorbent layers are coupled so that at least a portion of the thermoplastic adhesive material of the first absorbent layer contacting with at least a portion of the thermoplastic adhesive material of the second absorbent layer.
