abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology and concerns early diagnosis of postradiation myocardial damage in patients suffering lung cancer at the stages of combination treatment by examining a morphofunctional myocardial status. It involves gated myocardial 99m Tc-MIBI SPECT described by two diagnostic criteria: myocardial perfusion values and left ventricular contractility. The criteria are evaluated fivefold: prior to treatment, after 2 courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and after 1, 6 and 12 months following a radical surgery with intraoperative radiation therapy. The derived values are compared with the reference values prior to treatment, and if observing a persistent decrease, postradiation myocardial damage is diagnosed. n EFFECT: technique provides adequate assessment of the progression myocardial status, higher diagnostic accuracy and reliability of early postradiation myocardial damages - up to one year prior to treatment in the given group of patients with lung of cancer having an initial considerable risk of development of a cardiac pathology. n 1 ex, 1 app, 2 dwg
