titleOfInvention | Method of decomposing carbonates |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of decomposing carbonates involves crushing starting material to particle size ëñ1 mm, decomposing the carbonates by imparting external energy, tapping the conversion gas and cooling the end product. The starting material decomposed via irradiation with accelerated electrons with energy 100 keV-10 MeV. Irradiation is carried out at pressure lower than atmospheric pressure. ^ EFFECT: invention enables to lower energy and material consumption of the process, improve quality of conversion products, metal oxides and carbon dioxide, and increase environmental friendliness. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl |
