Antiperspirant stick compositions |
abstract |
FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetics, particularly antiperspirants. An "water-in-oil" emulsion composition of a solid astringent stick contains an antiperspirant salt 34 wt % to 70 wt %, a dispersed water phase containing 15 to 30 wt % of water-soluble astringent antiperspirant aluminium-zirconium salts, 29 wt % to 65 wt % of an oil phase containing at least one oil and hydrocarbon wax which hardens oil; hydrocarbon wax contains at least 1 portion wt/wt of polyethylene of intermediate molecular weight representing average molecular weight making 360 to 460 Da per 8 portions of the oil phase, and 0.125 wt % to 2.0 wt % of a silicone emulsifier. A method for producing the composition and application shows weak or improved braking and weak or improved visible traces. A non-therapeutic method of local sweating inhibition or regulation is provided by rubbing-in, preferentially in an axillary crease. ^ EFFECT: invention provides the required aesthetic characteristics including weak braking and good sliding and subtle traces with preferable hardness of the stick. ^ 26 cl, 11 tbl, 48 ex |
