titleOfInvention Method of volumetric reconstruction of lowe wall of orbit in case of traumatic injuries
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconstructive plastic surgery and is intended for surgical treatment of post-traumatic defects of orbit. Post-traumatic defect of lower wall of orbit is replaced with combined trapezoidal implant, which consists of titanium mesh with biositall sputtering and fixed to it during operation with suture material vicril colapolum KP-3LM. Combined implant is placed subperiostally, on condition of periosteum absence due to large size of post-traumatic defect, implant is placed immediately under soft tissues of orbit. Implant surface, represented by titanium mesh is located from external side with respect to orbit. In region of orbit top implant is installed directly on posterior bone projection, formed as a result of trauma, in anterior departments on lower orbital edge. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to preserve volume in place of implantation stably and restore anatomical integrity and physiological position of eye ball in orbit. n 2 ex
